Here is a list of links to College Volleyball Camps all around the country.
Northern Arizona University (NCAA I, AZ **Camp Information)
There are several reputable camps out here in the southwest. One of them is ours! Here’s the link:
Dave Rubio at Univ of Ariz runs a decent camp from what I’ve heard. And the new staff at Ariz State Univ. are good coaches so I expect their camps to be decent. Then there are the camps at New Mexico State and New Mexico that have been highly recommended.
Endicott College (NCAA III, MA **Camp Information)
I have an Elite Week camp at Endicott that is going to be June 29 – July 3rd. Jacksonville University (NCAA I, FL **Camp Information)
Recommends attending the university’s camp who you most want to sign with. High Performance camps have more coaches watching, but at an institution’s camp you can get one on one time with the coach that you couldn’t get anywhere else.
University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh (NCAA III, WI **Camp Information)

Northwestern University (NCAA I, IL **Camp Information)
We only have one high school camp during the summer which is July 17-20 and any potential recruit is strongly encouraged to attend. Other than that, I recommend doing USA volleyball camps and Sports Performance volleyball club in Aurora. Both offer numerous camps and the training is top notch.

Birmingham Southern College (NCAA III, AL **Camp Information)
We are actually only hosting one camp this summer and it’s the USA Volleyball High Performance Development Camp that is done by invitation based on the try-outs for High Performance Teams of USA Volleyball.
That camp is being held July 13-17. The information will be posted on USA Volleyball website I believe.
As far as other camps, we are doing satellite camps in the area for local high schools, as well as high school within the nearby states.
University of Florida (NCAA I, FL **Camp Information)
Of course we recommend our camps for any player interested in playing in college. One of the major reasons is that we often hire college coaches to work our camp. Players of all ability levels will get exposed to coaches from various levels that all have scholarship opportunities available. Here is the link to our camp information:
Claremont Mudd Scripps-McKenna College (NCAA III, CA **Camp Information)
We are running kind of a unique one this summer, July 14-18, that combines 5-6 hours of court instruction each day with extensive college counseling and SAT prep.
A Unique Approach
6 hours/day of volleyball instruction
Camper/coach ratio – 8:1
Individual and team skill development
College counseling sessions
SAT preparation classes
Camp limited to 25 athletes
Aurora University (NCAA III, IL **Camp Information)
The summer camps that I would recommend are any that the girls would be interested in attending. The college that they are interested in going to, they should go to the camp if one is offered. A couple of the camps in the Midwest that I would recommend would include Ferris State, Elmhurst College, and then the Sports Performance Volleyball Camp.
In regards to showcases, in December they have some good ones offered in Indiana and Illinois. Eastside Volleyball Club offers a showcase the first weekend of December that a good majority of college coaches attend. The JVDA is offering a showcase this Thursday in Wisconsin Dells, but this will be the first year for it so I am not sure how many coaches will be in attendance. Also, I am pretty sure that the club name is Asics Munciana and they run an exposure camp the first weekend of December as well.
Regis University (NCAA II, CO **Camp Information)

Cornell University (NCAA I, NY **Camp Information)
We do run a camp geared towards our recruits, they get overall ball control work along with positional training. We usually have had quite a few recruits attend. The past two years, three players each year ended up being in our incoming class. Our High Potential camp is July 26-30 this year.
Another camp that I recommend are the Sports Performance setting camps for setters.
I think players should go to a college camp with a school they are interested in instead.
Showcases are hard, because they tend to be regional so they are good for area schools. The AVCA showcase after the final four was a good one and think that should draw more kids next year. Almost all the college coaches were there watching.
Western Michigan University (NCAA I, MI **Camp Information)
Here is a link to our camps:
I think all kids should go to the schools that they may be interested in if it fits into their schedule. We are up front with kids and now we have completed our 09 class so I also recommend that kids find out what needs a school may have before they do attend so they know where they stand prior to camp, or they could go to another camp that may be offered at the same time to a school that may have a need for that position.
Syracuse University (NCAA I, NY **Camp Information)
Syracuse offers two camps, one from August 3-5th and the other from August 6-9th, with aims to develop individual skills and improve game experience.
University of Northern Colorado (NCAA I, CO **Camp Information)
All of our information is on our school website. This is the link to the camp page; http://uncbears.cstv.com/camps/ncol-camps.html. Towards the bottom you will see the list of our camps. The higher level athletes usually attend our college prep camp which runs July 20-22. It is really a great camp. All of our current athletes attend and many of them jump into the drills with the campers. Plus, most of our 2008, 2009 recruits attend. Lots of great reps at a high level.
Our one day clinics are also a great way to get some solid training with great exposure to our athletes and program. We have a setting (July 13th), a Defensive (July 14th), and a Hitting (July 15th) clinic. Again, all of the information is on the web page.

Locally, the MVI (Minnesota Volleyball Instructors) camps are by far the best. (http://www.mvicamps.com). They are run by Walt and Tracy Weaver and they have held them at Mac for over 20 years. The Elite Camp is terrific…at least 8 college coaches work the camp and are assisted by top local high school coaches. The coach/player ratio is about 1/10.

Head Coach Laura Groff is hands-on at every camp and works hard to get with every camper. The rest of her staff also works hard to make EVERY kid have an enjoyable experience. I do need to tell you that our advanced camp is pretty advanced. Our 2008 recruits will be in attendance along with a good group of our 2009 recruits, so it is very competitive.
